very cool and a very close race, I would say it could go either way if they race again the KTM could very well win. David knight is a monster he makes that bike look small.
Yeah, I got the feeling that Gee won because he's run that course countless times in his life, whereas it was David Knight's first day on that particular trail. I think we need a re-race on a private trail that neither has seen before with equal practice time given to each rider.
I give the Knighter tons of credit. Most DH courses are not conducive to riding a dirtbike down. He was hitting all the bike jumps including the hip jump on a big 450EXC, not a lite motocrosser. And Gee had total homecourt advantage. He's been racing and riding at Ft. Williams forever, and I am sure knows every line.
