I Live right over there too (for now, putting the Condo up for sale soon and moving to Grosse Pointe). I rode those with my last bike. My new bike is more XC oriented. I just use them now for climbing practice.

Minimoto - be careful over there. There are lots of skunks....

I gotta think Bob-o is a clintondale alum though, based on where he lived?

That is correct!

Just went out there today with kevin (minimoto004)
Not a bad place, the dirt is awesome. We got a small double line started, good flow. The place is not very private, so expect a lot of traffic out there...but the dirt will hold up to it. The jumps are in a great spot, a nice ridge with tons of natural features to build off, and water very close by. For a spot that everyone knows about, I think its perfect. If we could get about 4 or 6 shovels out there one day, we could have a pretty sick line in about 2 hours. Here is a pic of Kevin hitting a stepdown we built on the ridge (took only about 30 minutes of digging)

Built another step down to the far right. Not nearly as good as the other one but its got a bigger gap and gives you some good air. The landing needs to be fixed. Give it a couple weeks and this place will be badass.

Yeah I used to ride near there when I was younger, there was spot we called 57's on the other side of the river, it was back in the woods, there was alot of jumps inside. It was like a BMX rhythm section consisting of three monster jumps, that sent you higher than *beep*. There were like 10 smaller jumps in a flow throughout that werent as techy to ride. I think that it was torn down and built on. So this honda hills is all thats left.

As far as a helpin hand, and a shovel, count me in. I dont have my bike ready, and prob wont ride till next season, but I might try some of um on my trek. I'll build um for sure though, I live on 12 and jefferson, and the spillway is like 5-10 minutes away.

I am down to help though man, hit me up with a message and well get togther.

Peace, Corey

There are also some old jumps in the woods just south of the spillway and east of 94, hidden away and growing over.

Bumping this up again. Riding more then building in any of the trails. I find more and more day by day.

I wonder if these are the jumps that Heyyou was talking about. East of 94 on the south side of the spill way. If so i stumbled across them yesterday. Look nice, just needs some work. Looks like some bums may be living back there as well.

If anyone wants to ride or build, let me know.

I just rode through here for the first time while checking to see how firm the ground was during a Metro Parkway ride. Looks like some nice little bits of single track too. The route from the pavement underneath the bridge was nifty, reminded me of Milford for some reason.

Ya everything I hit was pretty dry. Theres a bunch of single track all along the spillway, sometimes it ends up in someones backyard though, in which case I scurry and turn around.
