I totally understand the dissapointment of the moment. I do not understand how a grown man can act like a 2 year old begging for a candybar in a grocery store. I saw alot of close finishes at the Tour this year and did not see a breakdown like that. Ya, he can be mad about the finish and mad at the pedal but be mad like a man, not a *beep*.
It's not your strength or skill. It's your level of commitment.

After that kind of physical output I have to believe his brain is not functioning at optimum levels. He just put in a superhuman effort to catch up after throwing his chain twice. He had to have no energy left to run his brain.

That all being said, who cares? How does his reaction to a heart breaking loss affect you? Why are so many people calling him a sissy? In my opinion you ride a bike you are a sissy unless you are knifing a guy 40 years younger than you in Ferndale. If you weren't a sissy you would be out playing rugby or some other manly sport. I own my bike riding sissyness.

Perhaps and that is the only reasonable explanation.

p.s. Jordan Wieber (reigning world champ gymnast) did not make the cut for the All Around competition after a couple small mistakes. She did not throw a temper tantrum. She cried, but handled it gracefully. She's from Dewitt MI. She performed well, but team USA is extremely strong and only 2 per country go through.

BS if you ask me. The best athletes should compete no matter where they're from. Far inferior athletes who cannot compete made the cut because their countries are weak. Talk about unfair. At least that mtb rider was not eliminated because of quotas and where he was from.
