How do I join or edit my account?
Now that most of the MMBA chapters have transitioned into the IMBA chapter program, how do you renew your membership or join? Sign up for your IMBA membership at http://www.imba.com/join and select the appropriate chapter. When registering for your account, be sure to use the same email address that you used with the MMBA, if applicable.

If your chapter does not show up in the list, it probably hasn’t completed the transition. In that case, select “I don’t have a local chapter or my club is not listed” when you get to the last dropdown box. Your membership will merge with your chapter when it completes the transition.

If you already have an IMBA account, you can login by visiting http://www.imba.com/ and clicking on “Login” in the upper right corner. Afterward, click on “Edit Account” in the same spot to make changes or view your information.

Money for IMBA corporate sponsorships stay with IMBA. Businesses who wish to support the MMBA with statewide advocacy efforts may sign up as an MMBA Corporate Sponsor.

Where does my membership money go?
IMBA membership money is split between IMBA and your local chapter.

Where does corporate sponsorship money go? How do I sign up?
Corporate sponsorships are for businesses wishing to support mountain biking advocacy. IMBA Corporate Sponsor money funds IMBA at the national level. What should I do if I think the MMBA should address a certain advocacy issue, needs to update an MMBA policy, or should consider a partnership or some other endeavor?
The MMBA Board of Directors is in charge of policies and business. Email board@mmba.org if you have something you would like them to address.

Who do I contact about the Championship Points Series?
Our CPS Director does a great job updating information on the website, and does it as soon as it is ready. Please be patient. Race results may not be ready immediately following a race, and points may not always be tabulated right away. For questions about the CPS, please email Dennis Murphy, CPS Director, at cps@mmba.org.

I object to forum or website content. Who do I contact?

Who do I contact about the website content, monthly e-Newsletter, or the Advocacy Newsletter?
Send an email to our Communications Coordinator, Diane Ursu, at communications@mmba.org with questions or comments.

What do I do if I want to post something on the MMBA’s Facebook page, Twitter account, or other social networking site?
The MMBA only promotes events and causes that are directly related to the MMBA and its member IMBA Chapters (this means that we will not promote running events, ski races, commercial mountain bike events that are not part of the CPS or other IMBA chapter or MMBA fundraising effort, etc.). Send an email to our Communications Coordinator, Diane Ursu, at communications@mmba.org with suggestions.

How do I sign up for Annual Meeting & Expo events?
The Annual Meeting & Expo is held every year in January or February. Visit our Annual Meeting & Expo page to download the vendor packet, swap meeting packet, and for other information.

How do I join the Michigan Mountain Bike Patrol?
