2010 Annual Meeting & Expo - January 31

This year's MMBA Annual Meeting & Expo will feature guest speaker Dave Wiens.  Wiens is a retired pro mountain biker and six-time Leadville 100 champion.  He beat Lance Armstrong in the 2008 Leadville 100 mountain bike race.  He placed second in the 2009 Leadville 100 which was the subject of the Race Across the Sky documentary.  Wiens is a trail builder and mountain biking advocate.

Expo visitors are invited to bring their bikes for a chance to ride indoors.  The MMBA Western Chapter is gathering volunteers to build an indoor bike park at the MSU pavilion.

The state board meeting will be held in the afternoon.  Members and visitors are encouraged to attend the meeting to voice concerns and ask questions.  This is an opportunity to meet the 2010 MMBA State Board.

Trail volunteers are welcome to attend a breakfast prior to the Annual Meeting & Expo.  The silent auction will return for a third year.  Many vendors will also be present at the expo and will offer opportunities to see the latest and greatest bikes and purchase clothing and other great equipment.

The Annual Meeting & Expo will be held on January 31, 2010 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m at the Michigan State University Pavilion.
