The Annual Triple Trail Challenge Mountain Bike Event Celebrates 20 Years

The Potawatomi Mountain Biking Association (Poto MBA), Tree Fort Bikes and Arbor Brewing Company are holding the Annual Triple Trail Challenge on Saturday, September 15th at Pinckney State Recreation Area in Pinckney, MI. First run in 1992, this is an annual fund raising event for the Poto MBA and features a free 46 mile non-competitive mountain bike ride with hundreds of riders on amazing single track. The route includes sections of the Potawatomi, Waterloo and Lakeland trails. Sections of the course are only open to bikers once a year for this event.
Riders can pre-register online at http://www.tripletrail.com or register at the event. Riders depart from the Poto trailhead at Pinckney State Park between 7:00 and 10:00 a.m. The ride concludes with a party at Silver Lake. Tree Fort Bikes provides free chili plus multiple kegs of beer from Arbor Brewing will be on hand. Beer and chili will be available starting at 1:00 p.m.
Beer glasses and other swag will be available for sale at the party. Also, new for this year, any current or new members of the Poto chapter of the IMBA will be given a special bike plate for the ride as well as a free pair of riding glasses.
